The Brazos River in Richmond is currently at Gage Elevation 10.19. Based on the 7-day extended forecast, no flooding along the Brazos River is anticipated.

This Week

After a series of warm, muggy days, we will start the week dry, sunny, and on the cooler side with highs in the low 60s and lows in the upper 30s to mid-40s. Temperatures will gradually increase into the weekend with highs hitting the mid to upper 60s before a cool front works its way through the region toward the end of the week. Our rain chances increase on Wednesday with a 70% to 90% chance of rain. Our rain chances slowly decrease Thursday with the return of sunny to mostly sunny skies Thursday afternoon/evening through Saturday. Overall the NWS forecast shows much of the lower Brazos River watershed, including Fort Bend County, receiving 1 to 1.5 inches of rainfall over the next 7 days.
