The Brazos River in Richmond is currently at Gage Elevation 10.35 and continuing to fall. Based on the 7-day extended forecast, no flooding along the Brazos River is anticipated.

This Week

Based on the forecast, today, Monday, will be our highest chance for rain as a Artic Cold Front moves through the Region. Mondaybs high temperatures will reach the upper 70s before the cold front moves through dropping the temperatures into the low 30s by tonight into Tuesday morning. Temperatures will remain in the low 30s to mid-50s through Thursday before warming up back into the 60s into the weekend. Over the next 7 days, the NWS has forecasted much of the lower Brazos River Watershed receiving less than B= inch of rain. The majority of this precipitation could occur over the next 12 to 18 hours with another potential round of showers on Thursday.
